George Clooney: The Sexiest – and Tastiest – Man Alive

We've heard of wax figures, but what about jelly bean portraits? George Clooney is getting the sweet treatment thanks to Jelly Belly Gourmet Jelly Beans, which has created a likeness of the actor with 10,000 jelly beans. The tasty piece of art will be on display, too, at the company's gifting suite at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills, just in time for Oscar week. Oh, and ladies, you can look but you still can't touch! – Brian Orloff .

A rooftop patio for 75 patrons, complete with a polished granite bar, decorative planter boxes and one killer view of the massive Buckhead retail renovation currently under way.

McGill says the pub's menu faves like corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and famous boxtys are staying put as are those popular early AM televised soccer and rugby matches that are heavily attended by British ex pats and their American friends.

Alas, the inconvenient hour of the game telecasts here (the matches are played in the PM across the pond) is something McGill says won't change either,

Quipped McGill: "The vagaries of time travel forces us to show them at that hour here."

If city permits are issued in a timely fashion, the new Fado should be open in time for St.

V. THE COMPLICITY OF SUGAR MILLS AND THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ...

One such business is The Coca-Cola Company, whose local bottler purchases sugar from El Salvador’s largest mill, Central Izalco, located in the Department of Sonsonate.228 Coca-Cola uses Salvadoran sugar in its bottled beverages for domestic consumption in El Salvador and in its canned beverages sold throughout Central America. At least nine of the twelve children Human Rights Watch interviewed in the Department of Sonsonate worked on four plantations that supply sugarcane to Central Izalco. These children ranged in age from twelve to sixteen. Their testimonies and the accounts of adult workers on those plantations confirmed that those plantations regularly use child labor.229

Coca-Cola is by no means the only multinational corporation that purchases or uses sugar produced in part by hazardous child labor in El Salvador.

So, how about something lighter to push us into the weekend. A current Idaho Statesman online poll asks readers to name the reality show they'd like to be on: What reality TV show would you like to be on from the following: Survivor, Amazing Race, Apprentice, Real World, American Idol, Other, None. If I was 25 years younger, I'd jump at Survivor.

Question: Which reality show would you like to be on? And how do you think you'd do?

Rodriguez immerses himself in Michigan tradition

Rich Rodriguez's office walls are bare.

Behind his desk, University of Michigan football helmets rest atop wooden shelves just above some pictures of his wife and their two kids, along with playbooks from his years at West Virginia University.

Sun pours through the glass-filled wall facing the south, where earth-moving equipment is paving the way for a 100,000-plus-square-foot football facility.

Not far away, a massive construction project also is under way at Michigan Stadium.

"I guess you could say change is in the air," Rodriguez said Thursday morning at Schembechler Hall.

Rodriguez has gone back to school at Michigan, welcoming the 1969 team to speak to the team last week and more than 200 former players this weekend.
